With a plastic tube that can be heated to form to desired shape (ie: 90deg. bend without need of an adapter) and a stronger center part.

Like them?

Good that your reinforced the middle because I had one break on my quadricopter which lead to a direct crash due to video loss.

Are you sure about that? Even without reinforcement, they where quite strong.

They are centered at 1269Mhz so they got 1.2:1 SWR at 1280Mhz and 1258Mhz

I can attest to the strength of these antennas. I've been running a Windmill on my fpv Summit for a while now and have had multiple roll overs with the truck and the antenna is still working perfectly. I have had to tweak the copper wire some to get it back to original shape, but nothing has broken. My heart still sinks every time I roll, and I immediately quit breathing for a split second and prepare for the worst, but so far so good. I try to be careful, but sometimes when exploring new territory I find myself in a roll over situation. Thanks again for a nice, quality piece, Hugo.
