Hey Guys

We released these little guys last year but some of you may not have seen them... :)

Unlike any other LED, the VOLO LEDs were specifically designed for multirotors.
They offer a bright, tight cluster of LEDs and are available in a range of colours.
They are so small you can mount them almost anywhere on your frame, and they attach easily with the incredibly strong supplied die cut 3M VHB double sided tape.
VOLO was the first company to produce this concept and nothing rivals our quality and performance.

-FPV friendly, the perfect brightness to be seen by others
-Low current consumption
-Easy to solder tabs for neat and clean wiring
-Custom dye cut 3M VHB double sided tape supplied for extreme mounting strength
-High quality PCB with gold emmersion solder tabs

Hey, im wiring up a quad now, and will be using volo lights, what input voltage do they accept? I see it says 12v, but have you tried pitting 4s into them???

^^ the led's on the top of this thread use 12 volts.

There are a few guys using them on 4S and they seem to be working fine (although a bit hot)
We can't guarantee they will last as long on 4S as they were designed to run on 3S.

I'm running mine on 4S - love em :)

G'day fellas, I've had these mounted on a 3S Blackout for a while and I'm currently building a 4S frame. I mount them vertically to the spacers with the double sided tape provided where they've held up incredibly well given the punishment thrown at them.
Here's a few photos of my latest build, with a 3S battery plugged in to demonstrate the illumination compared with the standard Blackout LED's on the PDB. White on the front, Blue on the rear. cheers. Brendan

These LED's are a stunningly well-made product. Is there any chance you could add the option to have them flash/strobe (perhaps via solder pad)? Flashing gives them quite a bit of additional flexibility and would also be helpful on planes, etc.

Thanks Matt.

There is not a lot of room left on the board for that,
maybe we could look at a separate flasher module that they all hook up on.
That we they'd be in sync too. :)

I love the 3D printed mounts for them.
Did you make them up? They are cool.

They are so fric'n bright you can see them on your rig in the day and further than km away. Do not look at them directly when u power up. DO NOT. Unless u like eye burn that can last 5 min or longer. At night they are ridiculously bright.
