Yay, it works. And it's almost plug-and-play, no soldering, finding the right wires or worrying about inverting or converting ppm signals etc.

Only a small modification (i.e. dremeling) to the module-bay lid is required to make the antenna connector to go through.

All you need to do is to plug it in and set the modulation to PPM in the transmitter menu. That's it. Took me 5 minutes to make it work.

Does anyone know any other radios you can do this with. At the moment using my taranis and dragonlink on an axial wraith

I know there used to be a lot of module pistol radios back in the day. Air tonics M8 and M11. It's not a futaba module but the 3 connections are not hard to figure out. KOPROPO had a couple module radios. The futaba 3pk and 3pj as mentioned before...

Also, there's a couple radios on hobbyking that say there is a trainer port like an airplane radio.

This radio shows a 3.5mm jack for PPM. You might be able to use that for LRS.

I have read that the GT3B and GT3C also have PPM outputs. But haven't verified it.
