So I received the frame from AIMDROIX and needed to make some revisions to the camera plate that comes with the frame. I decided to not use any of the parts related to the camera plate and had a custom plate made to support either the Zenmuse H3-2D or H3-3D. I also requested an additional landing gear plate to allow (3) MaxAmps 4s 5450mah Lipos but my testing has been with (2) 4s 5450's which I'm getting 28-30 flight times. The weather here in the Northeast has been cold so hopefully spring time I will get 30-35 minutes on (2) 5450's. I will do some testing with (3) 5450's soon.
Build specifics:
-AIMDROIX EVO Frame
-AIMDROIX Black Arms
-T Motor 3508 580kv Motors

-NAZA V2
-Zenmuse H3-2D
-TBS Core Pro PNP w/GPS
-TBS Unify 2.4ghz 800mw vTX
-Circular Wireless SPW24
-EZUHF Diversity Receiver

Finally was able to get a flight in before the Blizzard of 2015. I noticed I must reinforce gimbal plate, which is done now but waiting for weather to clear a bit to get another flight.

The build looks really good. I think we can solve the problem of your custom camera plate. maybe adding some ribs of carbon fiber plate or tube on the sides of the plate will help. This could be attached with rivets. You'll just need to drill a few holes.

This is one of the best Evo quad builds I've seen.

I already fixed the plate by stiffening with extra parts. Just need to fly and test, hopefully today.

Would you be willing to share your gains? Even if they are a work in progress, would be nice to see for comparison and discussion. Thanks.

Man, are you really getting almost 30 minutes of flying time on 2 4S LiPos?
That is really impressive. I am looking for a quad that I can convert to an X8 eventually.
Will fly it this year as a quad and next winter do the X8 conversion. This maybe be it.
Looking forward of hearing you out on this quad.
