I really like the Spider Hex. Although I would like vibration dampers up top.

Chatch do you have any plans on producing a mini hex?

The Spanky is, for the most part, the only mini with a clean and dirty plate and none of the others seems to have vibrations issues in their video . I'm not saying its a bad idea, however the video evidence speaks for itself. I bought the Spanky for the price, not for the vibration isolation. It's not like there are people breaking QAV250's and Blackouts since they don't have bobbins to break away first. That just doesn't happen. On larger 400 series multi's, the isolation is essential due to the slower rotational speed of the motors which is more perceptible to camera sensors.

That being said, if anyone can make an affordable spider hex, chatch can. Regardless of the design.

TL;DR - vibration isolation has been proven to be unnecessary on these small multi's but i don't care, i want one.

i think it's funny how people go back and forth over whether or not to use bobbins or dampeners. I choose what is best. You can see what I offer on the Spanky frame. There are plenty of other frames to choose from if this one isn't just right for you. If you think you don't need bobbins, simply connect the frames with metal or nylon standoffs instead of bobbins.

I will be putting out many new frames in the coming weeks. I have to go to Italy the next 2 weeks. I will not be able to produce anything during this time. After that I will continue putting out products.

I wouldn't dare tout them as authorities on the subject, but this may give some food for thought - http://www.getfpv.com/multi-rotor-frames/qav250-mini-fpv-quad/crash-replacement-parts/qav250-g10-vibration-damping-camera-plate.html
