For years, FPV has been limited by 640 x 480p resolution. This pales in comparison to the full HD 1920 x 1080p that the DJI Lightbridge offers.
Gone are the days of limited range – with the DJI Lightbridge transmitter and receiver you can achieve data transmission of the highest quality for distances of up to 1.7km (1.05 miles) away. Hobbyists and professional aerial photographers alike are going to be able to achieve footage only previously dreamed about! The Lightbridge will substantially increase the possibilities of FPV, and it will do so whilst being CE and FCC certified.
We cannot express just how excited we are. DJI Innovations are truly living up to their name, the Lightbridge features are expansive and well thought out.
These features are such things as:
• Extreme long distance transmission – up to 1.7km or even up to 5km with the addition of a 14dBi patch antenna!
• Multiple input and output connections
• Anti-jamming technology
• The maximum latency is 80ms, so low latency transmission
• Built-in OSD – no need for extra components or cables
• A single air unit can transmit to multiple ground units sending video to multiple screens
• Built-in high capacity 4000mAh battery that lasts up to 4 and a half hours
• And once again, Lightbridge offers 1920 x 1080p @ 30fps and 60fps
This fantastic new product is due to start shipping from DJI towards the end of February. FirstPersonView.co.uk is waiting with anticipation to snap them up as soon as they’re released. Keep an eye on the product page to pre-order yours.
