How could we control this arm on a rover via our r/c link?

I have no idea why they want to market something already commonly available, sometimes for less money? Am i missing something?

Man you can sell anything on kickstarter.. almost 100 grand they've gotten so far for fs sakes.

For the same reason that there are 100 different quad copter frames on the market, everyone thinks that they can design something that is better. In reality they are all the same thing... some just work better at specific goals/tasks/missions.
