Hi Chatch, I am about to order the 400Q and I see you have Spanky frame, that's look very cool, I like the arm design, can you share the spec for motor, prop size, etc and how about the flying characteristic compare to 400Q? Thanks

i'm thinking 5x3x2 or 5x3x3 props :)

please do 3 bladed props, those are a pain in the arse to balance arent they? plus they dont provide much extra lift, or do they?

imo 3 bladed props are easier to balance since you don't need to mess with the hub, just work on one blade at a time until two blades are of identical weight and one hangs down perfectly, then work on that one until all 3 are balanced

however with minichatch you probably won't need to balance at all, which is great because i f********* ******* g***gs* ***d*d**** hate balancing props

also 3 bladed props in general kinda suck.

hey Chatch on Spanky can you leave the G10 under the FC alone so that we can tape these instead of using the naze?

Anyone using a CC3D on their Spanky? Any first hand experience on getting it to fly well would be appreciated.

Currently building one up with SunnySky 2204 2300kv's and 12A Afro's and have a CC3D in the mail.

Sorry most of the people here use Naze32 controller. I can post PIDs for that one. CC3D seems to be fading in popularity.

You could probably use Juz's settings for QAV250 and CC3D.

Yes well my usual suppliers had no Naze'ss of any kind in stock for a while so ordered a CC3D. Looks like I have found what I need anyway and my flying buddy has sorted his out pretty well today so once my board arrives I should have a head start on getting it in the ballpark.
