Hi

No problem

you need inverted V. Fine tune on 900 mhz
Whit coax???
Or on sma???

What plane??
Show us where to mount vtx and ant

I have a TwinstarII....where do you recommend to place the antenna for ease of use and good reception?

I was thinking of doing pod type....like the RMRC pod...so camera vtx and antenna in one place
I am using FM...for better range, with my Futaba 9C so FM antenna wire trailing out the back of the tail section....so vtx antenna in tail section maybe cause interference?

Oke

so you like vtx and camera on canopy
Then also a extra lipo on canopy????

Thats look extra save. All fpv gear on canopy
No wire s from canopy to plane
You can open canopy a 1000 time s. No broken wire s

You mount vtx horizontal or vertical????

I get the idea to make the inverted V voor 900 mhz video
Whit semirigid coax

Hi Rob,

Yup, insha Allah I think it is safer and for cg also should not be any changes
Cos always same weight and place on canopy

The rigid coax should make everything even better, insha Allah more stronger ....
I am a noob so leave the design up to you :)

Rob,
From what I have read the horizontal antenna is generally better than a vertical one ( hence tv antennas are horizontal)
So lets go with the horizontal one :)

How you mount vtx on canopy???

Insha Allah will be mounting vertically on the pod or will cut out another canopy and mount FPV pod, like flitetest, on cut canopy

@Rob - Good work on the ferrite balun. This is a little known trick to fix the imbalance issue with a Vee antenna.

what about 2.4ghz?

Hi

You ask about a inverted V for 2,4 vtx
I got one. Never test it

Up to 1300 mhz. There is no speciaal need for circulair ant ( as far i now)

I can't seem to find a 2.4ghz inverted V anywhere. If you are selling these please consider adding 2G4 to your frequencies :)
