I did my maiden of the Disco yesterday and everything went well. One issue that came up is that I was unable to see the NAZA LED flicker depending on orientation, backlight, altitude, ect. Has anybody or is it possible to tap into that signal and add extra lights around the aircraft?

Simple. Place your NAZA LED where you can see it. I have mine located on the base of one of the arms . I can see it most of the time .

I realize I could just move it, but has anybody attempted to hack it?

Never had an issue seeing mine.. mounted on inside of frame pointed down through a hole.. the thing is bright enough to be seen in daylight.. Only think I really watch it for is satellite acquisition.. then off and flying.

I'm building (about 90% done) an OSD interface that displays the NAZA flight mode/gps/etc - there's a thread up on another site that describes all the features, but it does exactly what you're looking for. Not sure if I can post links here or not - I'll shoot you a PM.
