View Full Version : Guardian 2D/3D - can I use a Y-harness for ailerons?

Hi:

I have a 2D/3D which works great in my T-28. I would like to save a receiver servo slot if possible by using a Y-harness for the dual ailerons. The manual seems (it is inclear to me) that this isn't possible, but I find cryptic comments (mostly on rcgroups) that imply that I should be able to Y-harness the aileron servos into the Guardian.

I've actually tried to make this work, but no dice. Am I missing something? Some change in the software I need to make? Thanks in advance for your help.

Absolutely you can you use a y harness. I have mine set up that way in three different airplanes. If it is not working, test each component, because it is a simple thing to do. My guess is your y harness is defective. Does it work just as an extension would with only one servo connected?
