Here's a Blog post about our FPV Hubsan X4 to get things started!

http://fpvuk.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/hubsan-x4-fpv.html

And here's the onboard video: http://fpvuk.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/fpv-equipped-hubsan-x4-quadcopter.html

That's my first flight and its a bit up and down. Trying to hover in a confined space by FPV is always asking for trouble, FPV is much easier whilst maintaining forward flight...but that's tricky in the living room! haha!

All the best

I have the Hubsan and the 1SQ.. I gotta say that I far prefer the 1SQ to the Hubsan.. While the construction on the 1SQ is a but less thought out, it flys far better. Also the trim/gain on the radio of the 1SQ blows the Hubsan away.. I think they needed to put a bit more into the Hubsan before turning it loose myself..

That said, I fly them both all the time

(this is just flying them... no FPV on either of them)

I will see about building FPV rig one of them..

Hi RandallJ,

I haven't heard of or flown a "1SQ" but since I can't imagine how the X4 could be improved (besides missiles) it must be good!

All the best

They look pretty good fun, we have FPV`d one of our Hubsan`s. It took the extra weight really well and we are more than happy with the results

I got the pieces coming to FPV the 1SQ.. will update you on build and flight..

I haul milkbones (yea the dog treat) with the 1SQ.. so should haul the FPV rig.. :) sorry no missiles... but I am working on a golfball grabber :)

Would have been easier if you sold the tx with the battery already attached.. lol.. I did find some tiny batts and got them in different mAh ratings.. see how much we can pick up

Wow those quads are very stable for it's size, can't wait to see you FPV set up.
