To top it off I just finished hacking the 9Z for head tracking and it works great with the switch you gave me. I am using a TP lipo balance tap for the connection into the radio.

Only trouble with that is it's not locking, can get pulled out mid-flight.

It actually does have a locking clip, unlike the HK style balance plugs. That is why I chose it. Thunder Power type plug.

The upgrades to my Lotek50 are complete and it's ready for a re-maiden! Here's a breakdown:

-Stripped, straightened, GGed, spackled, and laminated
-Trace II OSD and Corona RP8D1 RSSI mods
-1.3ghz vtx with CL
-Hacker A30-16M v2 960kv
-10x7 APC prop
-Replaced 4000mah 3S with 3x 2200mah 3S in parallel
-Added pan to camera

~1750 grams AUW

It's pretty ghetto, just gonna tape down the batteries before every flight like I did before. I wanna wait til the spring meet to maiden, but I may get antsy and maiden next weekend. I still need to upgrade my ground station to 1.3ghz.

My gf called my plane ugly so I made a cover for the battery bay. I just took a piece of paper cut to size and laminated, then I sliced and taped it cone-like and added a wooden skewer to keep it rigid. It's just taped on.

Has the added benefit of being a little more aerodynamic too. Can't want to see how it flies now.

Dude it's gonna rock! It was awesome before and you remember how ugly it was. I'm hoping I can get a decent cruise at like 10 amps. This 72mhz won't last long with 6600mah lol, gonna have to fast-track my FrSky upgrades.
