seeing the world through a security camera
I totally forgot about that, been to the hardware store twice, I could have looked for it, lol.

Slowly chipping away at this plane. Battery bays done, 2200mah 3s sit flush with the top of the wing. Thin plywood with fiber tape, gorilla glued down with velcro straps going underneath plywood. Now I just gotta figure out how to put the camera(s) on there, and run the wires to the vtx and the rx... and some other small things.

Removed the snap-off area to reduce the size and weight of the $26 SC2000 camera...
Covered with liquid electrical tape for waterproofing. Have not decided how to mount it yet.

This thing's coming together nice! Looks like it's going to be super light.
Thanks! Yeah I am really taking my time and doing things right, I want this thing to perform. I am kind of nervous about the motor though, it has kind of a crunchy sound when I spin it by hand, but I have powered it up and it runs fine. I think it's a noisy bearing which probably means it won't last very long.

Close quarters, I powered everything on, and there is a very slight amount of noise in the video when I point the camera at a plain surface, hardly noticeable when there are actually objects on the screen, so I don't think I will worry about it.
Although, it would be fairly easy to get the ESC further away, but I'm not sure if that's what is causing the noise, the noise doesn't increase with throttle but it does change waveform/frequency slightly.
Can't even tell there's such a mess under there when the hatch is closed.
