Lost Zephyr: timnilson needs your help!

Hi Tim,

Sorry about your downed Zephyr, what was the wind strength and direction at the time of your flight? I'm looking at the search area on Google Earth and a drift plot might give a probable direction and search area if she held in 'loiter' mode before shut down. Posting any video may help, good luck with the recovery.

Al -- the wind was not too strong. Maybe 5-7 mph. The wind was blowing from west to east.

I did another nice easy 1.2km last night with my new IBCrazy helical, and it was the best video I've ever had in the air. I also realized just how much area we have to cover. If you have extra Zephyr-sized 3S batteries, please bring them along (I only have one pair of full-sized LiPos) If I remember, you fly 4S, so bring them too, just in case.

Jim -- Perfect! Yes, I have 4s 3300 mah Lipos I will bring. I'll also bring a charger. My lipos use XT60 connectors -- what do you use? I'll also bring a laptop and an extra 16 Gig SD card. My Skype name is 'timnilson' and I'll run skype on my iphone -- so you can reach me as well.
