Yes, I realize I could use the converter as you mention, but the TeleFlyOSD already has an audio modem built in for the downlink, and should not need the converter. I just wanted to know if anyone had experience with this particular OSD.
Thanks
Richard
Richard: The TeleFlyOSD probably does not send the telemetry audio signal in a format identical to what the skylark AAT expects.
Skylark: Does the converter for other OSDs that you sell for $28 come with any cables? Or can you tell me where to get the connector that fits the ports you use on all of these units? (or can anyone)?
Thanks
^^^Me too, I try to make my cables the correct lengths with no splices. I'd be happy having the gps and current sense side of things being through hole so I could solder wires direct to board.
Far better is it to dare mighty things, even though checkered by failure; than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
I have seen there are now two new modules, the AAT converter for other OSD and the Bluetooth module. I supose the use of the converter will avoid the need of the trace OSD if I fly with other OSD than trace. ¿Am I right?
And about teh bluetooth adapter. Can anybody tell me what is this module for, and where can I find more information?
You are correct, the converter allows you to use the AAT with any osd simply by putting the adapter between the osd and gps receiver.
I believe the bluetooth adapter is so you can get flight logging data to the new skylark phone tracking app. It may allow you to plot flight information in google earth too, but i'm not certain.

I have been trying my tracker with the Trace OSD. Everything seems to be OK, but I have been doing the tests in my back yard, which is about 100 ft long max, and I can't detect that its actually tracking. I have 7-9 satellites and a good signal. Is this normal? I don't want to take it into the street in front of my house because the neighbors already think I am nuts, and have not been able to get to the field.
