Does this thing have all the bugs out or do you still need to kill them like on the skylark osd?

I have the Skylark Tiny OSD and it works perfectly. I'm using the old firmware version with NTSC and I have none of the problems Sentry described in his review. I think Sentry's review sample must have had something else wrong with it. Based on my admittedly limited experience so far his problems are not universal to the product as a whole.

I will be testing this soon. I actually had a faulty board on my OSD - there are other pilots who had none of the issues I had on their OSD. Furthermore, most of the "issues" I had were responded to quickly - and my requested features were added quickly as well.

I have not seen a single OSD or tracker that hasn't had firmware upgrades. As an I.T pro I can tell you that the PRODUCTION network is what tests code - not the development network. Just as the MFD has seen firmware updates, so has any other OSD and AT out there. I do not expect it to be perfect out of the box - but I do suspect that Skylark will respond quickly to updates/upgrades and expanded feature sets.

I use the anti-slip mat like you use in cabinets behind the antenna so it wont slip easily.

This thing is pretty nice. It sets up easily, and seems to come with most everything. I only need to make a lawmate compatible cable, the one that came with it uses AV connectors instead of 3.5mm rca style. It also appears to support stereo audio operation. (AKA mono with telemetry)
