beam width of the helical is at least 90 degrees- plenty. A helical antenna is sort of like a patch antenna, except it is circularly polarized so it will work with the cloverleaf. If you just want to buy stuff use the stock antenna on the vtx and an 8dbi patch on the vrx.

I got 6 72mhz radios and RX's for $35, the bad one had a futaba module in it, so that's going in my Aurora for FPV usage!
That won't work. The A9 needs the hitec spectra pro synth module specific to the A9. It's like $50.

It works, but Its just not synth. It uses crystals in the module and the radio uses it as a regular ppm output.
