I need to build another GoPro box, and do the front end, cracks are 100% repaired, plus I'll use some fiberglass packing tape over the main spare when it's done.

Pooch - If I were to use the old Lawmate, which has gone far and has GREAT video, I'll epoxy the damn thing in so there will be no removing it
Every time I make something (cables, connectors, etc.) irrevocably connected by using epoxy or superglue, I've had a compelling reason to have to disconnect it about 2 or 3 flights after

Sorry to hear about your bovine carnage, hope you get to rebuild quickly.

Just a thought. Were you using the gopo as the live feed??

Reason is I use live feed and one day I lost video. Turns out the plug had come out slightly and I lost signal. Just a thought

    merely a flesh wound

I have popped the camera box of my Zeph2 multiple times, and once split the foam right apart down the middle so it was left with only the main spar holding it as one. Once I switched to GorillaGlue, it has been real solid. Never crashed it while flying, though. only during launch.

at one point a few weeks ago all of my planes and copters were too damaged to fly. Well i guess it was me being lazy - break one, fly another till it broke, then another, and so on. Then I took an evening and fixed them all up.

mudlark - no it was the connector on the Lawmate - I validated that after removing all electronic gear from the aircraft.

Pooch - what's that stuff you speak of, liquid electrical tape?

BC - Been there too, one winter I was bored so I restored all 9 of my Control Line planes - they are in fact flyable right now LOL

I have the EZ to fly, no HD capability on it but I may put it back...maybe...

The Zephyr will be down a week or so, I have to acquire a TBS GoPro box Or rebuild one from memory...LOL

In my last crash with ZII, that was very hard (around 90km/h in front of a wall, the wall don't move :-( ), go pro destroyed, and TBS Battery Bay destroyed, but the 2 lipos saved!!!

    TBS Battery Bay rock!

Very sorry for your crash, I hope the poor cow hasn't any injury

    sat tucks.

From damage I would guess it hit the ground. Would the cows be hanging around if they were hit by a white object @ 100MPH? Mine looked a bit worse from head on impact to the rock. Today it flies great.

Is there a corrupted file on the card? In that case it is recoverable.

this is what I did to recover a corrupted file: http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread....ll=1#post48011

Just Google PlastiDip, I got a little tub of the stuff to waterproof my cameras. It's what TBS use to waterproof the TBS69 if you've got one of them.

It basically goes on like thick paint, and once it dries it has kind of a plasticy, rubbery consistency and adheres well to stuff. I find it's solid enough to keep the plug in with no worries, but if you want to get it off it's not too hard either - just have to get your nail under the edge and peel it off.
