    Fpv ice berg

Not aviation but I just saw an IMAX film at the montreal science miseum about the arctic. It had a remote control vehicle that looked like a five foot ice berg. It had a big snowball on it with a camera in it. They used it to sneak up on polar bears. The bears eventually got curious about it and more or less dismantled the thing.

There's a documentary made by the BBC called:' Spy in the den' where they drive around with an RC vehicle disguised as a bolder, sneaking up on lions. Really worth watching. If you can find/buy the DVD, do it

Thanks for the links. That spy on the ice is indeed the cameras we saw on the IMAX movie. I'll have to look for a rebroadcast of that show on animal planet. The kids would like it

I think the best ever series the BBC did was the "Tiger - Spy in the Jungle".
The photography was outstanding and the videos of the tiger cubs growing up just breathtaking.
If you like tigers this is one series you will really enjoy.
