Help with ghosting - ImmersionRC 600mw

I have two ImmersionRC 600mw transmitters a Uno rx and now a Duo rx.

When using one ImmersionRC 600mw transmitter I seem to get ghosting especially noticeable on the white OSD. I at first thought this was my reciever since it was happening on both my ImmersionRC 600mw transmitters in two very different multi copter setups. I purchased a Duo and found the same problem.

I then switched to an old foxtech 200mw transmitter and RC805 rx and I have very little ghosting. In fact you can even see the edge of the black drop shadow on the white font. You'll also notice the color and brightness is more vibrant too.

I also have a pair of bluebeam cloverleaf antennas and switching them from the default ones makes no difference. I also have a range issue where the 600mw really starts to static out when the copter is 100 meters directly above my head.

What could I have messed up with the ImmersionRC setup to cause this? I know this is not normal as I've seen pictures and videos from other peoples ImmersionRC screens that look great and are rock solid. I really need a rock solid signal only 100m above my head with perfect line of sight.

Think I narrowed it down to the receivers since I switched out the VTX for a Mondo Stinger 500mw and I still got the ghosting and twitching with the Uno and Duo. Still waiting on the replacement rx for my dominators (it was recalled) but using the recalled rx with the dominators I dont see any ghosting, just the twitching at the top of the screen which is the reason the rx was recalled. I think its weird this is happening on two different Immersion receivers purchased about 3 months apart.

Tests (vtx 1m away from rx, perfect los) (with factory default 5.8ghz channel):

• ImmersionRC VTX 5.8 600mw + Uno or Duo RX = ghosting / twitching
• Mondo Stinger 5.8 500mw + Uno or Duo RX = ghosting / twitching

• Mondo Stinger 5.8 500mw + Nano RX = unkown, rx on order
• ImmersionRC VTX 5.8 600mw + Nano RX = unkown, rx on order

• Mondo Stinger 5.8 500mw + Dominator google RX = no ghosting, twitching (fatshark sending out new rx because of recall to fix twitch)
• ImmersionRC VTX 5.8 600mw + Dominator google RX = no ghosting, twitching (fatshark sending out new rx because of recall to fix twitch)

• Hobbywireless Foxtech 500mw VTX + RC805 = no ghosting, stable video
  (I just read I should not trust these cheap transmitters)

*I can not use the RC805 RX with the Immersion or Mondo TX since they have different frequencies.

I purchased a Nano 5.8 to see if this will finally resolve the ghosting issue. If any one has other advice please let me know. Thanks!

Just out of curiosity even though the frequencies are a tad off between hobbywireless foxtech and Immersion/Iftron I tried my RX805 RX...

• ImmersionRC VTX 5.8 600mw + RC805 RX = no ghosting / no twitching
• Mondo Stinger 5.8 500mw + RC805 RX = no ghosting / no twitching

So I think I can conclude that there is something up with my two Immersion RX's right? I guess I'll know for sure once I get the Iftron Nano RX. Just strange they both have this problem purchased months apart from different retailers.
