The customized firmware is one of the main ingredients that makes the Horyzon a very good FPV HD camera.
For $149.99 it may not beat Gopro in image quality but IMHO it comes right behind it.
If by accident you loose control of your Easy Star and hit someone or a car windshield, you will most like not hurt anyone, but a GoPro camera can, like a flying solid stone. While the HoryzonHD has a very small and lightweight camera, and I doubt you can hurt anything with it.
Rather you go with HoryzonHD or GoPro, always keep the safety in mind.
