My 1st Stryker met a premature death, so for $20 I had a new body, and though I would document it's build.
I followed closely Bracky's FPV Stryker info, as it seemed to perform well with similar equipment to what I had planned. Google 'FPV Stryker' and you will find his build.UPDATE: I have decided that the reason the 1st one died is that the Lawmate 1W 1280 vtx was just too much for the TLRS NR rx, and caused my glitching at a short distance. A reange check on the new once confirmed a problem, but the BOB 700mw unit showed no issues, so it was used.
Update 3/11/11:
Well, it was too windy today to maiden, but I did anyways. She flew pretty well but needed major adjusting to get the reflex and roll trim right. It took about 3 flights of adjusting to get it like I liked, but ended up finding I liked the CG just a hare forward of the recommended for stability. Could have been the wind, though, so on a calm day I may adjust it some.
