Nice tail wheel assembly, I wouldn't have thought of doing this type of plane as a tail dragger.
I just test flew mine today! You have all the right idea's.When I built mine I took all the hardware and threw it in the garbage.She come's in fast even with the flaps.

I Like the tail dragger setup. I've heard this plane needs alot of speed even with flaps to take off. Having it run at a steeper angle of attack sounds like a good idea. Also, that motor is HUGE! No power issues here!
