    She Flies Again

Like a Phoenix from the ashes, well OK more like a Skysurfer from the water

After her one and only ever crash into the reservoir (see man with no pants video posted previously), she took to the air with no repairs at all, I just allowed her to dry out for a few days before firing her up again

Had the same thing happen, just unplugged the battery and let things dry out for a day or two. I will tell you that if you ever do this with salt water, you can kiss all the gear good-bye.

Unless you rinse it with mineral water within 5 minutes. I lost the EzOSD, the PSU and the lawmate tx that way. The motor and UHF rx are still intact and working properly. Camera not yet tested.

Yep - saltwater - My stepdad worked for Uncle Sam and did some testing and used Dawn and fresh water, washed components (Flat circuit cards) and let them dry for a few days- they tested and worked.
He submitted a benny-sug and made a couple thousand..

Dude... what was that yesterday you wrecked! Haha, nice repair turn around. Funny how such a wreck can be rebuilt when it's foam based.
