So all excited about the Bixler 2 and ordered one instantly
Paid through the nose for EMS and in fairness it did say that for that item it would be shipped in 3/4 days as it is not held in their main warehouse
So I wait patiently and 8 days later it's still not shipped, I use their support system and tell them to cancel the order as they are in breach of contract
Next thing I get is a tracking number, oh yeah right, sure enough just like the last time (when I ordered a Fox Glider) it turns out to be a false one which never shows up on the EMS tracking system
Then oddly I get a support ticket message saying they've cancelled the order and I'll have to wait 7 days for a refund
Yeah right, Paypal claim placed immediately and responded to the support ticket saying that I didn't ask them to wait 7 days for payment when I placed the order so I don't expect them to ask me to wait, especially as they've already sat on MY money for 8 days
So looks like I won't be having a Bixler 2 after all

One must always be patient with HK.. It's the way it is with them!! EMS buys you good tracking and; if you are in Canada at least, generally a super-quick customs clearance with quick movement within the country from the port of entry to your place.
Why ?
I don't ask them to be patient when it comes to time to pay do I ?
HK service is rubbish, they cannot be trusted either, their most common reaction to a "where's my stuff" question is to send out a false tracking number, file a dispute and they say they won't do anything until you mark the Paypal dispute as resolved (yeah right), charging extra for faster EMS delivery and after 9 days still nothing sent out really is not acceptable
Anyway, thankfully we have payment systems that protect us from such unreasonable trading practices and as a result of that I now have all my money back and HK have the Bixler 2 that they never sent in the first place (yes despite giving me an EMS tracking number, amazing that ? )
I bought a servo for my Delrin Tricopter kit from HobbyKing, at the time of payment (and a few days later) there were plenty in stock, after a week I checkd the site and they were on backorder.... I was glad I'd ordered mine when they were in stock. 3 weeks later, still no servo. So I contacted them and they said "out of stock" I said, not when I paid for mine. They said wait, I said no. Paypal dispute raised and immediatley got an email from HobbyKing saying "please close dispute and we will send your servo". I said no, I got my money back and had to buy the servo elsewhere.
Hobbyking are crap customer service (and often just crap service) but unfortunately, buying from them is a neccessary evil when they're the only suppliers of the aircraft/parts I'm after (e.g. bixler 2)
How's this compared to the Sky Surfer from ReadyMadeRC?
