lastnight i moved it to a giant tripod, mounted my uno 5800 receiver on the pole, Lcom omni directional, ion video2pc capture device. now im trying to find a netbook mount from RAM mounts. looks like it works so far. now only if ion had the full screen option like easycap had. i might go to the 9 inch haeir monitor. how high should i mount the omni? the beam swings upward right?

    Hi tree,

I didn't want you to think I forgot about you! Our technician did not know right away the answers to your questions so she is doing some research and will get back to me and I will get back to you. Sorry for the delay!

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi tree,

Ok, Tia just emailed me to say that the signal on our omni antennas goes out then down, it does not swing up. She said there is no electrical down-tilt to these antennas. Does that help? If not, feel free to email her directly at tvaden@L-com.com!

Just FYI, I am on vacation all next week so if I seem quiet it's because I'm in the mountains without much wireless signal. I will come back on 8/27/12 though and will respond to any questions then!

    Thanks,
    Dave

that means i have to mount it inverted, or move to a patch antenna. or mount on a flagpole. i just do local field flying at the highschool. and some real estate surveys. so its mounted on the tripod for now.

    Hi Dave,

I was ordering a RHCP 8db patch from your web store but unfortunately the only options to ship overseas is Fedex or UPS... The shipping costs are almost twice the price of the patch.
Can you suggest any retailers that can maybe ship USPS overseas?

    thx;

    Hi roberto,

Yes, we have three resellers in Brazil who stock our products: Bertek, American Satelite, and Farnell-Newark. Here are some websites:

    www.bertektelecom.com.br
    www.americansatelite.com.br
    www.farnellnewark.com.br

Any of those should be able to get you a much better deal on shipping than we can do here in the USA. We ship a whole bunch of antennas to them so they have them for orders there.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks,
    Dave Fallon

Wow, that looks great, Scotttu! Glad you're back up and running, and in time for the big three-day weekend! If you get pics or video of our bumper sticker somewhere, send it along!

    Thanks,
    Dave Fallon

Looks good! If you got enough stickers, i'll sport an L-com sticker on my 900mhz rigs, since it's an L-com patch on the ground end. =]
