    Any Twinstar 2 Pilot's here?

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if I was the only twinstar 2 pilot here among all those zephyr addicts over here?
I've noticed that in the US allot of people even don't know this plane exists, which is really sad because it's such a stable and versatile platform!

It can pack loads of cargo, have ultra stable flight and she's amazingly easy to handle!

today I re arranged all my electronics so that my CG is easier adjustable for the times I fly with my gopro.

    some pics:

Hi Sam, in australia it's really hard to get a twinstar. I have ordered one and if it arrives I'll start my build log. I've heard the same great points about it so I'm eager to start. Never had a twin before.

Drunk dragon, where did you order your twin star from? I, also am an Aussie who would like one.

    Thanks, Jesse

Cool Drunkdragon! This is off course one of the reasons that these planes are hard to get for aussies and americans, hard to find one over there.

If you need any detailed pictures of my modifications I've made, let me know!

Frontline hobbies - google them. Like i said, they haven't actually confirmed they can get them, but they did take my money and are confident. I'll keep you posted.

I have a twinstar 2, but i will admit it's a bit neglected compared to my other two planes... i need to get her airborne again.
Far better is it to dare mighty things, even though checkered by failure; than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Despite what others here say about what is the best and most efficient airframe, I love the standard airplane setup of fuselage, wings, stabilizers. Can't wait to get started. I have a protech voyager on the way too.

I love this plane! well at least the look of it
Im still at the EZ* level, but im already looking for the next step. Is there a big difference between single and twin motor? i know its irrelevant but is it possible to paint the plane without adding too much weight?
