Dead set noob to FPV. I have stumbled onto this forum and look forward to sharing my experiences along the way. Right now I don't think I have much to offer with far more to learn, but that will change.

Been a blast so far

Before anyone asks, I am flying a DJI F450 with 3S lipo's and using the 8 inch props. I've added some heli landing gear as I got sick of breaking arms on the rocks.

The FPV setup is still sorting itself out. I have gone with the Replay 1080XD camera as I am not a fan of the fish-eye effect on the GoPro, still working on the jello. First few vids were very good, I moved the camera and now its -interesting

Yet to get the proper FPV/OSD gear working.

I went with the ImmersionRC EZOSD and fell into the reversed polarity trap with a different vtx. The smell of burnt electronics really lingers... I think I fried the current sensor at the same time so I am still waiting on parts - just part of the fun of living in Perth
