I have birds running both... you can take a screengrab and use that as a starting point but I'd plan on some tuning. That being said I have never tried to carry over PIDs.
When nothing else out there will suit your needs... design and build it yourself.

Alex sent us a batch to build and fly... I am pretty sure he will be releasing them soon... These are white foam with black coroplast. VERY nice kits, extremely well cut.
If you are not trying to fit through an opening that is just too tight, you are not FPVing.

    EPP and Foam

If you like tough EPP and tough Coroplast board. This is the right combination of the two. Too much unsupported foam is bad news. This has nose and skids out of foam. Tough, a good looker and a lot of fun to fly. Designed and built by a former jetfighter mechanic in Kittery, Maine. Big wing area gives it a nice glide ratio and wide speed range from very slow to blazing fast.

Slowjet this looks looks like a video you could have made:

    That looks awesome, Merrill!

Fellow Specter 36 builders, what equipment is going in?

    1. Motor?
    2. Battery
    3. Prop
    4. ESC
    5. Servos

I'm not sure where to start regarding power. Specter is generally not a super fast bird, and definitely flies better light.

No solid answers for you here, as I'm still figuring it out myself. But here is what Alex told me.

As for what you should run, I suggest a 2210 or 2215 motor around 1600kV. This will spin a 7X5 prop nicely and give it great performance.

    -Alex

I'm hoping to use as much on hand surplus gear as possible so I don't have to spend more money out of pocket.

    1. Motor? TBD ~ but considering this motor here....2725 1600KV
    2. Battery TBD ~ but thinking some zippy 22003S or Gens Ace 13003S I have laying around.
    3. Prop ~ TBD but probably something APC
    4. ESC TBD ~ Various surplus 20&30A esc on hand, will probably use whichever is lightest.
    5. Servos ~ emax es08MAII

Rx DTF UHF ~ on hand and small!
    Camera ~ HS1177
    VTx ~ LT200 from bangood

I have a few extra naze 32 boards laying around so may revisit the fixed wing thread to implement on this build.

    BTW: Yours looks good Bender!

I'm a bit suspicious; it looks like some frames were removed in Post-production. Thus giving a snappy roll. compare that to other scene switches.
