    Checking in from Northeast US

    Hi Guys,

Just had my first successful FPV flight today, loving all the stuff I bought form RMRC.

I've already made a very cool mod to my 800mw 1.3Ghz transmitter to get rid of the box inside a box by gluing on a heatsink.( Yeh, I love to tinker can't help it!!!) sorry. Saved a ton of weight and more efficient at cooling.

Question, Would you like me to post the mod here on the forum or no? If so where should it put it?

Anyway thank Tim for me, he's awesome, great customer support, great site!!
    See ya,

    M

Hey Skimmer! Welcome. Tim is the man, it's true.

There are just a few FPVers up here in the Northeast. I'm in Northern Vermont. Blizzard is in the Lake George area, And we have Troynh from Troy, New Hampshire, and a gent from Maine that has posted a few times... can't remember his name.

    See you in the discussions!

Hey Skimmer, welcome to the nut house. Be sure to check your bags at the proper areas and post any build logs you start off on
Some fly for attitude, others for altitude

I'm in southeast Mass and I usually fly at a RC Heli club field in Mansfield. I know a couple of other people that fly there are getting into FPV as well, there are more of us in New England than you realize, just that not all of them are members of this forum.

I'm thinking of maybe hosting a multirotor/FPV fun fly at the club field if I can get enough interest so anyone that wouldn't mind the drive to Mansfield MA, let me know and I'll work on the details.
