will you should try a dipole I hear there's a lot better luck with those. thank you for the detailed account though it's pretty interesting you would be really great to get a case study on such thing.

mocha, I need to be able to shape the shoe. I don't need to go molten I just need to be semi malleable. I'm on the road I'll post up some more details later.

If it's just for checking shape, a low-temp ABS or some polypros will do. You could then toss the shoe blank into boiling water for a minute then pull it out and shape as needed. Ever do this with a toothbrush? Same idea.

Or, if you can work starting with a clay-like consistency, you could give some epoxy putty a shot. Kneed it to mix, then spend the next 10min modeling it like clay, then wait 3-10min to harden

A dipole is on my to-do list. Does anyone know what ImmersionRC uses for their antenna wire? Seems like a solid core wire with very thin insulation. It isn't perfect, but I like it, particularly for the multis, and particularly for a dipole which will extend low.

I ordered one of the PZ cams from mochaboys link sat and got it today. I am still waiting on the one from sc2000. I will say its fast shipping on the guy from ebay. Now I have to figure out how to wire this thing. LOL There is a first time for everything.

Yeah, if memory serves me correctly, the extra wiring cable I got with my PZ0420 from SC2000 has the wiring backwards in the connector. so make sure you compare the schematic on the back of the camera with the wiring harness.
