RMRC 540 OSD camera- Go's dark when looking at the horizon.

I have my camera on a tilt pod on my Hex, set to look straight ahead, 45deg down, and straight down using a toggle. I'm getting almost no picture when I'm near straight ahead or climbing unless I brighten the picture through the brightness control on my goggles. Then when I look down its too bright to almost white. Anyone else have or had this problem? I've tried to adjust every setting I can think of but nothing helps.

    Thanks

Not my video but mine is as bad with darkening and some color shift.

Are you using the stock lense? Have you ever had it apart or had any crashes? Just trying to think of what it could possibly be. I have the 480 OSD and don't have any problems like this. I would try resetting it back to factory specs if you have not done so already...

No crashes or damage, never apart. But I may know what it is now, I'm going to test this evening. The BLC settings are off from RMRC's settings. I re-set everything to their spec and going to test asap.

No luck, I have the settings from RMRC and tried all types of different configurations with the BLC area settings. This is their area that are set, I tried these 1st and moved on to a complete reverse of these area and it did get worse but never better. I think something in the sensor has give up, but its going back. I have to say I've used customer support from a few companys and RMRC is the best it gets, they have helped me with problems with the ET stuff way more than ET has. These guys will always get my business.

The graph is in my album, its not ready at this time.

Interesting, I have three of these cams and dont have that problem. Since you tried switching the settings you may want to send Tim an email.

Yes, that does not sound right. I use the camera on my quadcopter and it is the only one I can fly in the late afternoon/evening and still see when flying around low between trees.

It should be here tomorrow or the next day, I hate it being down but nice that I'm only one day mail away from RMRC
