White Horse Hills in Oxfordshire, It was far to windy but I thought what the hell. Only problem wa with all the panic of flying in the gusty winds I forgot to press record till half way through the flight!

That's really excellent - I can see almost no camera shake/vibration!

Thanks the only shake I get now is from the Flybarless system which just needs dialing in a little bit more on the gain.

Nice! I've just fitted the Skookum SK-720 to my helicopter. It works well, but I still find the concept of an electronic fly-bar a little unnerving

A fly-bar-less chopper does look very cool though !!

I have to say the flybarless system flys so smoothly and is a lot more efficient for the battery. Add to that switching from 3s to 4s and I even just hovering I can get 8 mins flight time. I'm sure with a slow forward flight I will be topping 10 mins even with a 450 weighing 1.25 kg.
Although I've been tinkering with this heli for over a year now, I have just found two ground loops all running through my Eagletree osd pro which dumb as it sounds has it's own ground line running back to the current sensor and on to the lipo. I had esc and separate ubec grounds running from lipo to Rc rx which then loops through osd and back to lipo. Also found out with a ground loop you can get back feed of 3amps on a 30 amp system which in turn can lock your Rc system out.
Just been out and range tested again and I'm getting so much more range than before with my Rc antenna removed ( tlrs near range ). Another 5 meters on top of the already 25 meters and now have nearly zero difference with fpv gear switched on and off .5 meters now.
Now if this wind would just calm down here in the UK , I would be able to get out and see what kind of distance I can get lols.

Have you considered shortening all wires to only as short as they need to be? This sucks for when you make component changes - but is good for efficiency. I've got the Skywalker in line ahead of my 450 - but soon after I'll be on your heels w/ the heli and stealing all of your tech - LOL.

All wires are as short as possible now, only a few have been left which are on the tail boom. The reason for that is if I ever have a boom strike or crash then there is some stress relief on the cables!
My only problem with my heli now is that I'm sat bored as there's nothing left to tinker with for the moment lols. More testing is what's needed now to find the true range of my Rc and video gear. I'm unsure whether to do a ground range check with the antennas on and walk as far as possible or just go for a flight until rssi or video reduces.

I don't suspect it's anymore noisy electronically as a small plane (i.e Funjet). If you get the required paces on the Tx with the video gear on (or even with the blades spinning on idle) then I'd say the limit is your battery and flying style. There is a guy that got 19 mins out of a 600 size heli - I bookmarked his page adn stole some tech for my HK600GT
