Just ordered one. Hopefully it gets here by the 12th because i'm supposed to be on a FPV road trip on the 12th.

1550/1600mAh 3S batteries on the stock motor with 8x4 folding prop should be plenty of power. the stock setup has a 2S 1800mAh battery. ESC is 30A, the 8x4 will pull probably 45A full throttle so I bought a 40A ESC. I assume I won't need full throttle lol.

my pan/tilt kept getting caught on the wire if i looked down and moved it across the center so i fixed that with a mix. now the camera will hug the frame with the flip of a switch, and return to level when i center it. if i want to look to the right but not look down, i can always flip the A switch down to turn off the mix

I love it, get ready to dremel out some foam because i had to cut out a 30x112x22mm slot for the battery under the plane behind the CG.

it flies as good or better than a radian pro. it has ailerons and they are HUGE. i can do barrel rolls lol. for $120 shipped you CANNOT go wrong with this thing. i think the stock ESC might even be fine on 3S, but i upped it to 40A because it comes with a better heatsink.

battery hatch... i covered my lipos in velcro and just shove it in. there's no way it would come out. i made a coroplast skid and it works very well.

i have NO IDEA how he got the CG right shoving a 2200 in the nose. must have been SO noseheavy.

he's one of those "old fashioned" flyers you would see at an AMA field. he has some good building skills and tips but i wouldnt take any electronics advice from him. even be weary of motor/prop/esc combos he recommends

most people get tripped up because Dynam includes the aileron Y-harness in the plane by attaching it to the elevator and rudder servo wires(so it doesn't get lost). don't let that fool you lol, take it off and when you get the wings out, you put the y-harness on the aileron servo wires.
On the "grand cruiser"(cessna 310) it comes hooked to the gears+elevator haha

This is ballin. You've inspired me to get my Phoenix 2000 back in the air, and figure out how to get the battery farther back because mine is nose heavy. FPV gliders are my favorite. I even ordered a couple g-osds to flash the firmware to get that home arrow and stuff. So thanks for the thread man. I wanna see more!
