    IBCrazy 900 Vee question...

just recieved my antenna, 1 slight worry, the shield has a few loose 'hairs' on it, so i gave it a comb-over down towards the ground pole, my question is can put a small dab of hot glue on it to keep them in place or will that affect the tuning of the antenna???

i also feel the need to to the same to the coax on the pcb as a strain relief.. 100+ zii muahahahaaa, and maybe a leash to catch it when it blows off..

^You can do that with no issues. Sometimes the cable frays when we wind it up as it is all done by hand. We actually now glue down the cable to avoid the problem with a special polyamide adhesive.

If it is broken, fix it. if it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.
