Hey Guys, mind if I join the discussion. Another from Brisvegas. Just learning to fly RC, you know, 2 min flight and 2 hrs fun putting it back together. Haven't named the plane yet - was thinking CA or epoxy, considering what the plane is mostly made from now. All that being said, once I saw FPV on youtube, I was immediately hooked. Just have to stop uncontrolled contacts with the ground, trees, fences, etc, etc ......

Thanks MG & DD. I am in Stafford.

DD, the park you mentioned, is on top of the hill at Ferny Grove? I have been looking for somewhere to fly but most areas are used by sporting groups on weekends.

Just finished putting my EZ*2 back together. Having issues with getting the CG right and withthe thrust line for the high mount motor.

I'm in OZ woohooo, make some noise. Weather is crap here in Melbourne and I know a lof of FPVers working on their secret winter projects for some cool fpv sessions when we have daylight and the wind runs out of puff. Would be interesting to see previews of what people in oz working on

Hi M'ck'y. Weather has been bad here in Brissy too. Yesterday and today have been the best in so many weeks. Only good thing about being trapped indoors is that it gives us more time to dream up our next adventure. I am just starting with FPV and would be interested in which combos work best. There is so much on the market that may or may not be any good that I prefer testomony from happy campers before I commit $$$ to this.

Weather has been crap here too in southern NSW.

Have been working on a Zeph2 for when the sun comes back out.

Still got a bit to go yet, but this one will be running a EZOSD setup and Ruby.

Have just started mounting the electronics.

Yes! Its a great place to fly. Cricket is annoying on sundays though. Your very close to me, once your up and flying let me know and I'll come hello in person and bring the Z2 and CX-4 Quadcopter along.

Mongrel, can you please keep a log of the ruby setup as you build it? I didnt go with a Ruby only because of the double up on certain components and I was concerned the structural integrity of the Z2 may be compromised by too many wiring channels and cutouts.
