    Ground Control Transmitters and LRS

I have taken several stabs at making a ground based vehicle that will be fun to drive and have descent range. I tried 75Mhz for control and only made it one block! I tried using a Futaba 9Z with DragonLink too. Range was fine, but I hated driving with a flight TX. Not at all fun for me and it made my rock crawler lurch back and forth when trying to use F/R on the right ELE stick.

I think the perfect combo would be to find a traditional 75mhz TX with the wheel and throttle trigger and ideally a third channel toggle switch to pan a 180 servo left and right, and interface it with my DragonLink. Ground TX's don't have trainer ports usually, so could there be a way to tap the PPM signal from a ground wheel TX?

He added his uhf module to a Flysky GT3B pistolgrip transmitter and also managed to get 8 channels out of it!

I just found that Tx about 20 mins ago after searching around on Google. For $40 bucks you get allot of radio and it has a 3.5mm PPM simulator cable and charge jack. It is also 8 cell power so I bet I could power the DL Tx using the power from the radio like I do on my JR9503!
