I've never looked very closely at mine, but I'm sure you're right and they're glued on there...
It's been a while since I looked closely at mine, so I don't remember if there's anything actually inside of that piece - if there's not then it wouldn't be a problem to take it off.

Do people who put the MyVu goggles into a ski mask leave those corner pieces on?

Yeah if I remember right mine just popped apart with a little force, the part that's glued is just really thin plastic and mine broke when I removed it, but I dont care since I will never re-assemble them. I actually removed that to remove the ear pieces, I didn't think about drilling a hole like you did.

You can lift the plastics whit small screw driver
Then you don t have to dril a hole

Cool, looks like I need to start planning on ordering a ski mask from you now

Here's how mine are set up in the mask. I put those pieces of plastic back on to make the connectors stronger, and put some strapping tape on. I'll see if I can find more pics of the inside and how I have the remote installed in them.

Rob and anyone else, careful with those plastic covers off the sides, the screen is vulnerable to dust getting in there with them off. I got a speck of dust on my left screen and can't get it out.
