Yeah Salt.. you mentioned outfitting your workshop like a LHS.. I was inspired by that statement and did something similar on my last order. It's great once you start looking into the staples.. like CA glue (massive bottle for like $3) UBECs and other misc always-necessary components... I've got a massive pile of bits heading my way now.. Once it gets here, I'll basically have any and every connector I could ever need. Once you add it all up.. it's amazing the amount of stuff you can get for so little.

I come away with this on my mind: With EMS shipping I have two ways to track the package, by EMS until it gets to the states, then by USPS until delivery, I like seeing the status's arriving in my city and "out for delivery". With the other means of shipping, which I do use, I am trusting that they will ship the package and just wait for it to arrive some week knowing it will take longer. My take on the length of time for shipment is it is on the slow boat from China, they pack a shipping container until it is full, so you never know when your package will arrive on the day they are ready to close up the container, that is why I think the EMS shipping varies so much. After that crate arrives to the destination, then the EMS package will be flown to your city, but getting to your shores will sometimes take weeks. Thats not a plus or minus for HK, just the way economics of shipping work out of China.

BTW, my messed up wings shipment (Bixler) from HK, well they agreed to replace it, but has been a couple weeks in that status, I wonder if they will actually ever ship me a replacement of both wings, I am still waiting, and may not order a plane from HK again.
