You could try a pull up (10K) and a simple Schottky diode (BAT85 or similar) as a level shifter? Crude, but usually works just fine.

O.K. testet your advise! now it works! connectet with pull up and diode and the commands are recognized without any problem. I watched the signal on an oszi; the signal peak comes up to 3,72V
Is this configuration safe to use? with the pullup and diode installed or wouldnt you recommend using it in normal fpv use?

I am about to try this same setup. I have the apm2.0 and want to use the ppm sum out of the ezuhf div Rx. Did you still get good results CaptainPlanet? Is there anything you changed to make it work??

O.K. I did not try further so far; But I have found out something different; if you jumper by soldering the apm2 to ppm on channel 5 it does not always work. If you read the comments on the apm2 wiki on connecting to sum signal they say, that the way connecting a sum signal receiver to apm2 in the apm1 way does work better (jumpering signal of channel 2 and 3 on apm and providing sum signal to channel 1 without the solder jumper; This way workes, too. I did not test it with ezuhf receiver with this version, but would be worth testing.... just as a hint...
o.k. for thoese how are interested in; switching the apm2 to ppm mode with the amp1 method (jumpering signal Pins 2&3 without soldering the ppm bridge on the back) ppm input is on channel1 then the ezuhf rx works without any problem and no pullup or something else is needed...

But when I hook up servos to the outputs and power up the system, the servos remain totally silent. Not even a twitch. Anyone have an idea why APM isn't outputting servo PWM values?
Do not forget to power the servo side while testing....
The power through usb will not go to the servos!
Ya I had 10a power going to the APM.
I fixed it though! Turns out you have to have the throttle channel plugged in for it to work. I usually leave the esc signal wire disconnected but once I plugged it in all the channels worked.
