    diopter question

Because I am near sighted, (I can't read 1" high print more than 5' away without glasses) I need the diopters for my Dominators. I tried the -6 version and they made it worse. Hopefully one of the other two sets help. I guesss if they don't then I'll have to look at getting some made up from my optician, which I don't imagine will be cheap..

Anyone here get them custom made with their own prescrip?

I got out my Dremel and chopped down an old pair of glasses that were a pretty close prescription.

Mine work great. If you get a caliper out and measure the width/length/height of the diopter lenses, then score and Dremel out similar size lenses from your existing glasses they will work great for you.

Make sure you have someone use a dry erase marker to pinpoint the center of your pupils, as that is where you want to center your cutouts.

I'll try and throw together a how to on it to simplify the steps.

    PM sent - thanks.

On another note, I notice that the screen is high in my vision, and I have to tilt the goggles down a bit to get them so they are straight in front of me. One work around is to slide the strap up higher on my head which forces the angle down more. I thought perhaps it was the shape of my head but had a couple of others try them on and they said the same thing.

Perhaps something to keep in mind for future versions is a tilt adjustment built in?
