    Cool Scratch built 30'' wing

I was bored last night and realized I had enough parts to build a wing. I have no idea what I was doing so I found some schematics for a 30inch wing and tried to follow them.

    2 Hitec HS82mg servos
    Highmax 2812 - 1080 1980 kv brushless with a multiplex 17am esc (DRAW 38amps, oops)
10x7 sf prop (to many amps but I don't have a 9x4 laying around)
    3300mah 3s lipo
    ar6210 rx
    1/2" epo foam from lowes

Here is some pictures. I figured this is a good learning platform to learn my radio. And hell, if this can fly I can fly the zephyr 2 no problem.

Trim that prop down to about 8" and use a smaller battery and it might fly.

Torque rolls like a mofo. Time for a 8x6 prop.

Also your prop may be starving for air with the trailing edge so close to it. If you trim that back a bit it'll be more efficient.

with almost 2000kv, you would probably be fine with a 6" prop, and less than half that size battery for that small of wing span.
