Need assistance with the rssi cable.

I recently purchased the interconnect cable between the ezosd and the current sensor that incorporates the rssi connector for the ezuhf receiver.

The problem i encountered was in hooking it up, the battery info disappeared from the bottom of the display and no rssi telemetry. The info across the top of the display and the timer with callsign still operate normally. Don't know if this is a firmware issue with the ezosd or there is a problem with the cabling up to the ezuhf lite receiver. Everything works normally again when the receiver gets unplugged from the cable and resetting the power.

    any solutions for this?

I had that happen too, verify your connections and then I believe you have to snip the ground off the RSSI but don't quote me on that yet. I did not but I did find that by verifying the RSSI plug on the EZUHF - it has to be in "Firm" but don't break it - anytime I lose RSSI that's where I go...

Probably try that out after the test flight, tucked everything back in the wing and put new covering on the underside. That original connector is a real bear to work with. The new one is a bit shorter, probably decide to connect both cables together so that i can make it convenient to plug into the receiver. The ground line eh, sounds too simple, hope it works.

I believe my ground line is still connected, but hte connector on the RX on mine has to be SNUG or it won't work.

but once it works, ooh la la! it works well!!

Gonna hit the hay, weather is supposed to be nicer tomorrow, hope to get out and try this TBS Core on my EZ at the Fairgrounds...

Cool, don't know if you still want to fly Saturday, i'll check tomorrow. the connector going up to the rx is really a snug fit, the one going up to the current sensor seemed to interrupt power to the osd and kept resetting, have to work with it.

Really want to see what my plane looks like from your Gopro...

Still can't get any rssi info to come up even after disconnecting each line separately. There is no gnd line going up to the uhf rx plug, just 5v, clock and data. If it helps, the EZosd is on version 1.06, don't know if it supports this or not. Works just fine in normal mode but would really like to get the rssi up as well.
