The funny thing is that I had this same problem... the screen printing on the board is wrong for this too, It actually gives you the status and power LEDs when things are plugged in backwards. It just wouldn't bind. I finally figured it out because I read someplace that the new version of the board has been protected from reverse polarization, so I tried it the other way and it worked. I hope this works for you, I understand how frustrating it is to pay so much for something and have it seemingly not work the way that it should.

Ok i'll reverse them. Im not frustrated at all. I know this thing works. I also know im screwing up something! Lol

Has anyone ever modified a 72mhz futaba module to accept the Dragonlink pins? If so, how do you do it?

right... you will just have the power light till you bind, you should then have the blue link light.

try calibrating the rx with the tx, full throttle on the radio boot up with button till noise, then should have red/green., jumper on 3-4, boot rx and let it sit for a while, 20-30 minutes

then try binding. if that doesn't work, you might want to try changing the id on the unit. then calibrate and bind

Tried binding it that way. Light just stayed red. No other lights or servo twitch

This is what it's doing during calibration at full throttle. Rudder servo is going hard over and twitching. This right?
