Sweet! What batteries are you planning on running in it?
Chicken, I'll be running a pair of nano-tech 4s/3300 in it.
I just ordered a second charger and a second pair of those batteries as well.
A two battery plane requires a two charger set-up, no?They are both the cheapo accucell 6 from HK though, nothing special. just an FYI, the batteries are in stock right now....
keeping adequate stock is a definite problem in this hobby.
What are you using? I read somewhere that you will be flying with 3s? BTW do you have a build thread?
3s 2200's.. kinda small.. I'll have to clear up some space in my battery bay so that i can accomodate some bigger ones.
You guys are all gonna out-pace me. :)P
What can you tell me about the nano-tech's? I read on hobbyking a bunch of marketing hoopla, but what's the big deal? I see the C ratings have a range instead of a set value.. what's up with that?

well, from what I've read is that the nano-techs are smaller in dimension than others for the same capacity. I don't know about the veracity about the charging rates hoopla, especially since I can't really charge at those rates anyway. LOL. Also, these are supposed to last longer, but I've heard diverging opinions on that as well.
So, the main reason I bought them is because TBS uses them and AFAIK they have smaller dimensions.
The combination of motor and 4s batts provides for "unlimited vertical" according to TBS![]()
Best get with it!
What on earth! No wonder those puppies were out of stock at HK. What are those in the red package?
