    first low flying attempts

    Hy

    Made my first video with my new Zephyr. It's the 5th flight and the first where I tried to fly near the ground. It's a great plane, I like it since it's very stable even very close over the ground.

    super video. what video frequency/power and do you use a tracking antenna or what?

    Thx for all the replies and of course I will deliver more videos. As soon as the weather gets better I will do more flying since there is no reason not to fly so stay tuned.

    I use a 2.4Ghz transmitter with 500mW. As antennas I use the CL/SPW combo which works awesome so no tracking antenna. This flight as been done at around 1km from the ground station and the video was very very clear almost all the time!

    Further south alas, I live just outside Geneva... Has some beautiful scenery of its own of course!

    Another one in the alps capable of low alt flight.... must be something in the milk?
