I don't think the god being too close to the esc I'd the issue I'm getting a good 8-10 sat and 0.8 - 1.1 hdp

maybe i didnt read the instructions 100%, but I have never set, "Model Location as 0 Pan"

I did however calibrate the pan/tilt angles via windows software with the highest possible precision. Doing each setting, then going back and fine tune each one from the start. I noticed once you set all pan angles, your first (north) may shift a little. I also think that if you set the NW NE settings, its a bit more accurate.

At the field, power up...get sat lock. once you have GOOD sat signal, power down and back up...or go into the menu and "reset home position". This seems to have the biggest effect on the tracker.

Also, dont worry about the tracker being off a little bit as its super easy to get it perfect.

First flight of the day, power up get sats...reset home pos.
Fly LOS out in a straight line and adjust the tracker to point at the plane. done. drop goggles on your face and have fun.

ok I figured out what i did wrong my pan servo when installed was not centered on the tracker so when setting pan 0 north i was moving the antenna to 0 north but this was not the 50% point of the servos travel and then all my angles from there were also off . so my 0 north was actually 55% servo travel and that was almost 67 dergees off.

so if the tracking is pointing in the wrong direction you just lift it up and point it at the plane? wow so easy..
when you "reset home position" is it best if the plane is closest to the EE
