Hey.. i just noticed that my UHF tx firmware is v1.25a ... on the website you've got 1.25b listed as "Fix an issue with the timing of the PWM output for channel 8"
    Could this be a factor?

Was using a DX8, but also happened when I was running a futaba 7C, EZuhf Tx and Rx (diversity) and this ESC.

    Hi

    Some other things to try:

    -Replace ESC with regular servo.
-Create a mix in tx: throttle to any spare ch 100%. Difference? Had just this problem on one DL Rx, only Ch1 was broken and only when operating the esc. Operating a servo worked fine, operating the ESC from any other Ch also ok.
-Operate esc with servo tester or other rx.

    Hi Kalle,
thanks for your help (helpful first post.. nice! Welcome to the lab!)

I'll try the channel swap when i get home from work tonight.
I'll also be setting up my 9x to see if it behaves differently.

I'll report back here with my findings.

We took a good look at this issue today, using a Futaba 9C (no Spectrum stuff available for testing), and the timing and levels of the Rx outputs look just fine, matching within a nat's widgin' of what the 9C puts out.
It is a bit of a mystery as to why these ESCs don't like this.

We'll see if we can borrow some other radios and do the same testing.
