Its a small world huh! Another noob from Brisvegas here.
I am about a week or so out from my first FPV flight. (got a camera on a slow boat from singapore)
Theres a few more local guys over at RCGroups that are just starting out too. Looks like FPV is gonna be the next big thing round here
Where abouts are you guys planning to fly?
Welcome to the Lab, fellow Brisbanites!
I'm located on the north side near the airport. I've been fpving for around 2 years now and enjoying every bit of it! If you guys want any help setting up your gear I'm quite happy to assist! The main place I fly is about a 40min drive up north near the Glasshouse mountains. I have just completed a Scout Bee and I spent all today pushing it's limits (184km/hr!) in preparation for some Glasshouse surfing

That sounds awsome - might take you up on that...unfortunately I am as far South of Brisbane as you are north.
Have been flying generally down outside Beaudesert - very high launching arear picked out with clear line of sight for long range stuff.
But will only be setting up and maiden the Tx and Rx over coming weeks - I have a Range Video set up will just be using a screen for now but would like to have a peek through headset sometime.
PM me and we'll make a plan to get together for a get together somewhere - for those interested.
Cheers
